Absolutely a joke company they fine you for not Recycling but if it's not in the bag they give you because there are to many of them ie cans they just walk past not our job A disgraceOf a company

Always loosing or damaging bags and boxes by just throwing them around! Just had a new red bag and it's gone with the rest of my bags and caddy. Looked up and down my road and nothing! They've all had numbers on them as well. Takes ages to redeliver, had to re-order the last time as nothing arrived for weeks! Makes you not want to bother!

I am very unhappy
I put my recycle out 1900 last night all washed with soap and water and sorted into categories and bagged individually . I generate such a small amount I have always used one Green box with bagged categories . I also double bagged all my ripped up Amazon cardboard , so it wouldn’t get wet in two black bags to avoid wetness , it has all been left ! I now have a full box for my next fortnight ( now will be contamination risk) ! This is now a regular occurrence . I wouldn't mind but my neighbours don’t wash out or sort , and all theirs is collected . Please can I ask for collection of the box this is ridiculous it would take 5 min to place in catagory bins on van ! I ask why I pay my tax when I sort and wash my own waste ( to avoid contamination) and always have this issue. If i used all the bags and boxes required it would be more work ( so I thought).
I will send a copy to the council officer for the area as some common sense and risk assessment could be applied in small households! This this now a more frequent occurrence ! Please reply to this concern as receipt of concern

I have nothing but praise for the team that collects our waste and recycling on a weekly basis. However I also feel extremely annoyed at residents in narrow streets parking their cars in the road making it impossible for the trucks to safely pass, especially when they have vacant drives. Yet these are the very people who will complain. I don't work for the council either, but fed up with whingers.

Since April 15 this year due to ill health Newport city council sent an e mail saying that I am now accepted by wastesavers to have recycling collected from my door, up until today after many chats and frustrations have not received a single collection, messages sent to wastesavers but no response, next Monday it will be my fourth week. My recycling boxes are in full view of my front garden gate. I've always been a keen recycler, but this experience has made me decide to bin the lot in household waste bin. I have severe lung problems and this problem of non collection is creating a great deal of distress. In fairness to the council at least my household waste had been collected, hope it continues; Is there anybody out there?

Completely useless service, set up an assisted lift for my Mum who is 88 and had 2 falls trying to get her rubbish down a steep drive for collection. 4 weeks on and several calls to Newport Council again today no assist lift! Maybe time for Media call to highlight this non existent "service"
