I have visited the re-use centre a few times over the last couple of years and have always been impressed by the work they do, the enthusiasm and kindness of the volunteers and staff at the site. After my retirement in December 2024, it was time for me to get my own laptop - scary as I'm a bit of a technophobe and had always relied on my workplace IT teams for any support!!. However, I cannot praise the helfulness of Alin Nistor, the Reuse IT Manager, who not only sorted me a fab refurbished laptop fit for my needs at a reasonable price, but talked me through and helped me to upload programs at one of their amazing free IT workshops run by the IT team held every Friday morning 10am to 12pm. Thank you so much to all of you!! - I would not hesistate to buy IT equipment from you again or to use your services again and will be recommending you to friends and family. Thanks also go to Alun Harries who put me in touch with Alin and the IT team in the first place.

Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The computer experts, Ray, Alan and both Marks, are very knowledgeable and built us a really good computer at such a good price. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend the Reuse Centre in Maindee, Newport.

Great! It’s a new thing in town and very affordable. Equipmet is very good quality from well recognisable brands such as Karcher, vax, Akita etc. no stress if you have problem with your first booking- staff is very helpful. Great service 👌

very rude staff . my 10 years old son went there to fix his chain issue which he bought 2 weeks ago . lady call her self store manager shout on him by telling him its his fault . he scared and call me . when i call them to ask what happened she speak very loud on a call with me and accusing me i am not listening to her . and when i start talking she hang up on me . i call back and she was very rude my son was standing there and she keeps accusing him that oits his fault . i dont need refund but i just want people to know she is very rude

They have great quality second hand furniture at brilliant prices. I came in and chose a sofa and dining table and chairs. Unfortunately when it was delivered couldn't fit through my front door (totally my fault for not measuring!) But they gave me store credit and I was able to come back and choose new stuff the next day and they were even able to deliver the same day i chose it. All the staff both in the shop and the delivery guys were really friendly and helpful. They've also come and picked up a dresser I didn't want any more and were really quick.

Bought a brilliant Computer from here. Staff was lovely and the IT department answer any queries which was asked of them with ease. Very friendly and I've been using my computer now for the last 2-3 months with no issues at all! Everything was set up ready to put my own details in. All updated so literally just plug in and off you go! Had a package deal with the monitor, keyboard and mouse and everything worked great together. Definitely no complaints and you cant beat the price either! If you dont have the money to buy a brand new laptop/computer then definitely go there instead of other second hand stores. You can tell they put the time and effort into each and every product they check before putting them on shop floor. Not only that they are fully PAT tested and you receive the certificate to show you that it has been PAT tested with a very recent date on it. I have made purchases before as gift to grandparents and they've had no problems either. But this is the first computer I had purchased for myself from there. Definitely recommend people to shop here!!

I moved to Newport 9 years ago, since discovering this place its been my absolute go-too place for just about any household item that can be recycled including IT. I have strong ethics that disapprove of a throw away society and fully approve ALL of what Wastesavers do in reducing our carbon footprint. The hardworking staff are also an absolute inspiration that really are a breath of fresh air for customer service and show great dedication to achieving the goals this organisation targets and achieves. I feel truly humbled that the money I spend is used for such a great charitable cause. Corporate organisations should take note what amazing work is being done here !
