some items can be a little pricey and staff can be short. but I've always had a pleasant experience. Most the time walking out with something that I've needed for not bad a price. Great selection of stuff you can really find some good gems once you get past the unorthodox customer service. It is a reclamation yard not waitroes after all. Always been able to lend me a tape measure or wood saw as required and always had time to chat about what stock is available. Overall happy with what I've purchased and happy to have it round the corner from my house.

We have dealt with Tim on many an occasion, he's always been great with us and been open to a deal, so a couple of the reviews here are a bit confusing. Eccentricity and knowledge often go hand in hand, I should know. Plus, anybody who helps lift a cast iron radiator into a van can't be all bad...

Wessex reclamation did a wonderful job stripping five old large interior doors that I had given up hope on. The doors had layers and layers of old gloss paint, but the team at Wessex reclamation dipped them and stripped them back beautifully. Excellent service, very helpful and would highly recommend the lovely men who work here.

Always had ok service and friendly advice from the girl who works here - but the old guy with the grey hair and beard (you'll recognise him) is a total joke. The most abysmal customer service I've ever witnessed at a reclamation yard. To quote "happy to never see you here again" after he lost a sale over £6 VAT that was never discussed on the original sale - and he kept a £10 deposit we'd paid because we'd "wasted his time for a week" whilst the doors we were buying sat in a rack gathering dirt. I could be as rude as him - but I wouldn't stoop that low. Amateurish, pompous and arrogant... still he gets his wish - we won't go back. I can thoroughly recommend Rose Green reclamation in Bristol. They are cheaper and well stocked and whilst they call a spade a spade - there's no pretence and they seem to like their customers. #nevergoingback #worstcustomerservice

A gold mine. Always worth a visit, as you never know what they might have on offer. All these reviews about bad customer service are to be ignored. I've overheard some fruity language, but that's just their way of being friendly. if you treat the employees with respect they will respond in kind.

the most fabulous amount of interesting pieces but the most ridiculously overpriced !! looked at a reproduction door with a broken pane and they wanted £180, could have got a brand new one for less than half the price, i thought the whole point of going to a reclamation yard was to re-cycle used furniture not to get fleeced, it's a shame as a lot of the doors were perfect for us but sadly greed won out!

Tim issues us some reclaimed floorboards and stated that we could return what was not used, upon return he viciously stated that he would not pay that price and only pay a quarter of the price of what we paid and was very rude agrgressove and hostile.

As a young woman I felt very uncomfortable, and due to this will not be returning.

This is deceptively big as from the front it doesn't look like much. There are door fireplaces, furniture, marble and much more here, but dont get too excited, ask for the price of things and you will soon realise why there aren't more people here when you visit. Very over priced.
