I have always found the staff helpful here. I use a walking stick so do struggle to go up the stairs but they have always helped me. I also like that if I don’t want something anymore but it’s still in good condition then they can sell it. I would rather that than it be thrown out.

Can somebody tell me what the council workers here actually do ? They sit in their warm hut drinking tea, they come out and moan if somebody leave a few leaves on steps to garden waste skip. They only come out of the hut if somebody brings something in they can sell. Lazy people never lift a finger to help struggling pensioners. I took two wardrobes down today and at 68 yrs old with 2 hip replacements l had to struggle up 12 steps about 15 times. Disgraceful lazy people. Next thing they will want a pay rise for sitting around drinking tea.

The employee refused my 2 x 10 liter mayonnaise container.
There was only 2 or 3 liters of mayonnaise in it. He said that containers are commercial.
I didn't bring 20 mayonnaise containers,it was only 2 of them. Moreover, my vehicle was not commercial.
The person working was very rude and brainless, this person forces people to fly tipping. Unfortunately I threw 2 mayonnaise containers my own household bin..

poor lady was clearly having trouble and asked for help and was ignored she had trouble breathing. I am really suprised you allow smoking on site, I thought that was banned as its their place of work. They never do anything other than hide round the container smoking or sit in the office. very very rude people

As ever do everything they can not to take recycling. A few pieces of plastic required special clearance as the items came off a motorbike and should therefore go to a scrap yard? A scrap yard recycles metal.
Refused to accept a wheel because it had a tyre on it told me to take it to quick fit. An example of a local authority spending public money for a facility and then regulate it to the point of unfit for purpose
