I had my car here for 4 new tyres through Asda tyres around a month ago.

The staff were rude upon attending, and I was given a timescale and upon return still had to wait an hour longer.

I then had to return a further two times due to the tracking not being right on the car, even though it was perfect when took it in. After the third time I gave up. I then discovered that they had not put the right PSI back in the tyres and were all at 26 and 27 PSI when should be at 32.

To top it off, today a banging appeared on my car which got worse and worse as the day went on. Fearing the worst I had to go to a mechanics to have this checked out, only to find that the wheel nuts on both front tyres hadn't been torqued up, and all had another full turn in them. The mechanic was shocked they had been left like this, and due to the issue getting worse, i'm glad I went in with how loose they were, before my wheel inevitably fell off.

Awful place, awful service, will not be returning.

the store is really good, a lot of goods, the prices are also good, the service is worse, the seller is very, very rude in helping me buy a bike, he didn't want to go behind the counter, when he arrived, he didn't want to unfasten the bike so that my son could sit down and see if it fits, my son was so discouraged that I didn't want to be in this store any longer, I went 20 km away to another city, the seller was immediately interested, he came and asked what I needed, my son sat down and I immediately bought it, I won't buy it from Google for my daughter Tower either, I will look elsewhere because unfortunately it is not available on Selby it was, it wasn't the first time I was treated badly in this store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Very helpful and fitted our car in at short notice to resolve tyre valve fault whilst we waited, as we were just starting out on a long journey. Great customer service.

The guy at the counter appeared new to the business and was unsure of what I wanted, He was not assisted by his work colleague who was quite dismissive.
He went on line for the answer to the problem and duly attended to my request in full, well done. The new fella was fine but his colleague could do with some customer care skills... as a minimum

Very nice and friendly staff who keep their doors open to every customer! I visited them when my car started making funny sounds which I didn't know where they were coming from. They welcomed me and diagnosed the problem free of charge! This was after another garage refused to even listen to my story. Two days after, they fixed my car and I'm back on the road, happy and safe again! Thank you Wilco Motorsave and keep up the good work!

Took my car in for service on Saturday 6th January all was ok until the car made a juddering noise. I didn't notice the noise until Monday 8th January as didn't use the car at the weekend. After hearing the noise to and from York I looked under the bonnet to see the air box hadn't been put back on at either end.
I had to take a days holiday to take the car back in to be put back together. When I took the car back the guy I saw said it was him that did the car on Saturday and it was fully fixed when I left, so I asked is he blaming me for taking it apart. He said he wasn't blaming anyone. After further discussions he then admitted he did struggle getting it back on and took 3/4 attempts to get back together.
When they had put it back together I asked them to show me that they had actually put it back this time which the other guy pulled a face at.
I am annoyed it cost me £160 for the service and a days holiday because of their mistake.
Very rude staff for something that was their mistake.
After sorting the car out I went to another garage to then find out they still hadn't put the airbox back together properly, so they did it free of charge.
Definitely lost my business now.

EDIT; I have proof of how the car was left. As I took a video and photos, if you wish to see them you are more than welcome. Again just another dismissive comment.

The friendliest garage I've ever come across. Very quick and professional. We took our car in for new front tyres and wheel alignment after hitting a pothole.
We left it with them first thing even though it wasn't booked in till the afternoon and they had in and up on the lift straight away.
The track rod ends were siezed and needed changing, but they kept us informed at every step and still had us back on the road that afternoon.
No hesitation in recommending them.
