Great staff very polite and do a great job to ensure everything is disposed of responsibly in the correct containers.

Been very regular visitor for 2 and half years (renovating house). The guys are great. Polite, friendly and helpful. Sometimes have to queue but hey ho, that’s life in Britain ?

Helpful staff; time your visit carefully as it can get busy. I take cartons and alu foil to carpark next to Allendale centre.

I was charged double the £1.50 fee to put an old toilet in the skip because it had a cistern attached - apparently that makes it 2 items even though it is one fixed unit, and the replacement was bought as 1 item. It is ‘a’ toilet, singular. It’s bad enough to be charged to use this facility given the amount we pay in council tax, but to be charged double by an operative who said ‘either pay or take it away’ is just disgusting. The aforementioned operative was happy to take my money and watch me struggle to put the thing in the skip, offering no assistance despite my disability. No service, no customer care, just appalling.

Always so helpful and cheerful. They go above and beyond to help everytime you visit.

Thankfully I live in Wimborne now and not poole. Visited today after months and months of general waste being put in my garden due to a back injury. Some of the guys saw I was struggling and took over. I have only visited a few times but every time I do they are always so friendly and don’t shout and intimidate you like other places in BCP. What a Great Team, Shay, David & the rest of the guys, always happy, polite & always helpful, I was really struggling on 1 particular trip to the recycling centre & they helped me out big time. I arrived over half an early before closing time. yes there was a queue but that's to be expected at that time of the afternoon - 3.30. unfortunately I had to wait for a full skip to be taken away, but not my fault. slowly getting closer to being allowed entry into the tip, but then bang on 4.00 pm they closed the gates. because the delay was their fault I would at least expected them to wait 10 minutes or so for the queue to clear, or maybe have someone walking along warning people that there was no point queuing so they might as well turn around and go home.
