The fish are either unable to swim, dead or can’t move in their tanks as there are too many fish in one tank. The tanks have no decor in them and just look depressing. It’s sad looking at them all. And also frustrating when the staff tell you that you need a large tank with not too many fish ect ect when they do the opposite.

Lovely place set out in a nice location. Everything you need for your garden. Well stocked. I found the 'bee friendly' 'wildlife garden' info v useful. Great selection of seasonal items for home & garden. The cafe has some of the best scones in East Yorkshire. The cafe has an outside area which is lovely. The rocky road & coffee selection is 👌. Staff are great, friendly hrlpfil

Woodmansey Garden Centre is a true gem, offering far more than your typical gardening experience. Stepping inside, you're immediately greeted with an impressive selection of vibrant plants, catering to every green thumb, from novice to expert. The quality and variety are truly outstanding.

Beyond the flora, the centre boasts a stylish range of garden furniture and clothing, making it a one-stop shop for both your outdoor and personal style needs. The thoughtful curation of these departments adds a unique touch, elevating the garden centre experience.
But the real highlight for me was the cafe. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The array of cakes was simply divine, and the drinks selection was equally impressive.

Adding to the appeal, the large food section is a culinary delight. A fresh butchers counter provides top-quality meats, while the "Cook" frozen meals offer convenient and gourmet options. And for those seeking a taste of authentic Indian cuisine, Paveen Kumar's curries are an absolute must-try – bursting with flavour and clearly made with passion.

In summary, Woodmansey Garden Centre offers a comprehensive and delightful shopping experience. Whether you're looking for plants, furniture, clothing, or a fantastic meal, you'll find it all here. The friendly staff and high-quality products make it a destination worth visiting again and again

Visited twice over the past week.Staff excellent HOWEVER clean the cafe. Nothing to do with a new heating system being installed. Cobwebs in the windows. Display not been moved and chairs severe dust on the legs and some need replacing as the webbing has broken. A couple of hours of intensive clean would resolve. Thank you

A lovely garden centre and wheelchair accessible. Spotless toilets.
We came for breakfast this morning, which we all enjoyed. Very nice and plenty.
One star knocked off for my French toast was black underneath, but edible 😋

This is our ‘go to’ garden centre presently. It has such a rich variety of products and provisions - all exceptionally displayed. The staff are chatty & helpful. I’m personally impressed with the displays and layout (having spent a life in design.)

After shopping we try to take in the cafe & order food. So spacious an area, clean and very well presented. The menu is very good.
On our last recent visit we decided upon breakfast, and ordered accordingly. The cafe wasn’t busy. We waited & waited & waited. Eventually our order arrived, rather cold.
What stops this ‘go to’ centre from getting this important area of cooked food provision functioning affectively?
We’re no strangers to garden centres & taking advantage of the food in the restaurant/cafe. I think at the beginning of a season we become ‘centre groupies’. I could certainly advise management which centre to visit to make a positive comparison?

I visited the garden centre cafe this morning with my dog. Whilst not being allowed in the cafe with my dog, staff members looked after him whilst I went in and gave my order. I took mydrink and food to my table and another staff member brought some water over for my dog. It is very difficult to visit places as a single with a dog. This was fantastic customer service which was very much appreciated. Thank you 😄
