Phoned these guys yesterday as I had scrap metal on site I needed to get rid of but had no way of transporting it . They came the next day collected and was paid within 2 hours . Fast friendly service no messing about no nonsense . Highly recommend and will be using again

Collection happened today on schedule with an hour's notice from the driver, Dave - a very pleasant and respectful chap.

Having previously been let down by 3 other scrap metal collectors who don't even bother to let you know they're not coming, I would not hesitate to recommend X-Met Metals moving forwards. All good.

I called them on Sunday, and was surprised to get a response. They made arrangements to call the following day, to collect an old washing machine from my house.
Despite forgetting to put it out for them, they kindly messaged me, to see if I wanted them to call round again. Within a couple of hours the machine was collected, without any problems.

Absolutely faultless service. A friend who is a heating engineer recommended the company and I sent an enquiry via the website and had immediate message back then onto WhatsApp to arrange collection and the whole experience was finished from enquiry to collection within 2 hrs , with money in the bank within 30 mins of pick up . I’d give 6 stars if I could , highly recommended .

Contacted them on the friday and a very friendly chap with a lorry turned up on the monday morning to take away a large amount of metal scrap. I live in Southport and had contacted a number of local companies none of which were interested in picking up ferrous metal items "not worth our time" , but X-Met were like, no problem, free collection and we'll be out the next working day. Top marks.

I tried this company a few times and I was left with a sour taste in my mouth every single time . Every time they didn't pay for certain items and the last time they didn't pay what they said they were going to pay before they left with the materials

I believe his name was mark and he is a Charlaton at the finest and not to be taken for face value he got recommended by a Charlaton so I don't know what I expected but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt every time and it was just to much to deal with In the end

I have dropped off the metals today, greeted by the staff at the entrance, everything weighed, money paid to bank account after 30minutes. I will certainly go next time!
