Emergency wedding dress alternations! Only 2 weeks out from the wedding and my dress needed last minute alterations, they turned it around so quickly and to an fantastic standard, the customer service was amazing. Couldn't be happier.

Really fast, attentive and friendly staff and service. I popped in with a skirt that needed the waist taken in, and due to an upcoming trip I only had a few days to get it done and back by. I had been told there was a short wait, but when I advised there was a bit of a time crunch the team said they could get it done. I'm sure it'll be perfect when it comes back!

Initially offered a price of £20 to adjust the sleeve length of my shirt which was agreed. They then called me after I had left to say it's actually £35 and I can pick it back up if not. This by itself seems quite unprofessional as they should have known the price beforehand. The reason given was that they had to move the cuff.

The work itself when received was quite shoddy with loose threads all over the inside, wobbly stitch lines, and unfinished and mismatched plackets.

I dropped in a sofa seat cover as I had managed to wreck the zip whilst trying to get it back on after washing it.

I was quoted a very reasonable price and the work was promptly completed. They even managed to match the light brown zip so a repair isn't even apparent!

A special mention to Fiona who was so helpful and friendly - she is a real asset to the business.

Absolutely blown away by the repair zip yard have done to my son’s jacket. Faux leather was peeling off the collar and they have replaced it with a fabric one that matches the fabric on the cuffs. The standard of work is exceptional and I would highly recommend zip yard and their lovely friendly staff.
