I have experience of the surgery for my step kids and everyone i dealt with was brilliant. Having now moved to the areas i have become a new patient and sadly the experience has not been good.
Firstly a medical review appointment was booked without any correspondence or explanation - for a time i couldn't make. I called and rebooked - however all text communication didn't update and i had no idea which appointment would happen.

The person who did the medical review had no idea what the appointment was for and seemed more confused than i was. The result of that review was 1 out of 3 meds required on repeat where approved and none were pushed through to the app as promised. The result being more work and confusion for myself and her colleagues. On speaking to the practice this was quickly resolved which was great.

I haven't received any correspondence from the Practice explaining the patient onboarding process, steps to take or guidance. The staff seem to think we should know what happens and their default is to pop into the surgery which really shouldn't be necessary.

Moving doctors is stressful, practices should own the migration and help patients with the process and most of all ensure repeat medication is migrated properly.

Having lived in many cities, to be able to call and get straight through to reception is now gold standard for GPs. Never a long wait on the phone, always called back or asked to come in the same day. Easy to book in for tests & booked appts are not a long wait at all. I can assure you, we are lucky compared to my previous GPs in Nottingham, London and Berkshire.

Staff are lovely and friendly, always warm and clean. It is difficult to make an appointment to see a f2f doctor, but that's an issue with all surgery.

Used to be able to get advise and appointments using the NHS app now I can only request repeat prescriptions why is this as the receptionist I spoke to seemed clueless no I don't want to sign up to your website, I want the app to work as it should

Omg you know when you have that moment of I wish I hadn't bothered moving surgeries... 3 times ive been in to pick up medication I've had issues. Most lately to be told I can't have my medication till I've had a medication review. Why didn't you tell me that when I signed up or ordered my medication. No lets wait to tell him the day I pick it up.... They have the ability to pick up the phone and send a text so why not use is. I've had better communication with a lamp post.

I have been coming to this practice for many years, during which time there has been many doctors. I have never had to wait long to be seen after making an appointment, although it can be difficult to see the same Doctor. The nurses are lovely and the Doctors on the whole are good too. The waiting room is large and spacious so you don't have to sit too close to anyone if you don't want to. The receptionists are pleasant and polite and so too are the staff at their pharmacy. Always plenty of parking available. Thankfully I don't need to go too often but its good to know they are there and you can get seen without difficulty when you need to.

Everyone is so professional at what they do. We never always get the answers we want immediately and diagnosis isn't always instant. I am prepared to wait as long as I get there in the end.

This is by far the best surgery I've been registered at, which is a fair few as we have moved locations a lot. Doing an e-consolt is great, and they have always called me within 24 hours of doing it online, either for a phone consultation or to book a face to face.
