Carefully explained on the phone what I wanted to bring in and was given a price.
Then got there and the price almost halved, with the excuse being that I must have been put through to a different branch by their automatic call handling system despite dialling a local number.
Apparently my fault for not taking a name.

Also found it odd that the weigh bridge readout was turned away from the customers view...
Won’t use again and while other places are further away their prices are better even than the inflated ones that SWM give out on the phone.

A good scrap yard. Scrapped a car here a while ago and the price was fair and the staff were helpful. They offer really good prices on parts and they tend to have a fair few Cat C's for sale at very good prices.

Don't bother trying to ring them. Just spent five minutes listening to someone telling me all about SWM services being prompted my estimated wait time was one minute. What a joke. Will look elsewhere.

Always a pleasure taking my metal here very friendly helpfull ppl , Always fast to unload also , Prices are fair as they are the same everywhere , A friendly helpfull bunch of ppl I won't ever use another yard other than bideford SWM ,J smith ?
