The recycling centre is run efficiently and the staff there are very polite and helpful.
Take note that the place IS NOT open 7.30am - 7.30pm. Last appointments are at 3.50pm and they ARE NOT open on Sundays contrary to the web page on Google. I was told 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri. 9am - 4pm Sat.
I had this confirmed by staff members today when I visited (1st June 2024)

I have just been to the recycling centre and I would like to thank Alex so much for his kindness and empathy. He is worth his weight in gold. Mike was also fantastic working well with Alex and also helping me.
This means a lot to me and I am guessing for many others. Going to the tip can be exhausting and with their positive, kind attitude it goes a long way. The guy on the gate was also so helpful and cheerful this is extremely important because he is the first point of contact . You all do an amazing job . Thank you so much for all that you do in helping us shift our pre loved goods. Whether it's rain or shine, every time I have been up, you ALL are smiling. Thank you.

Got to say that the system of online booking is great. It means that you roll up at the allotted time, (no queuing halfway back to asda), and there is always room to park. Big shout out to the guy working on Monday who helped me with my armchair.

Always book a slot for our garden waste. So easy, no long waits, as there used to be. Staff are helpful, if you need help. Please do not change this system.

Booked my appointment online so easy. Arrived today with the mattress on the roof rack. On arrival a quick on the iPad and the Operative waved us in and told us which bay to go to. As soon as we parked too very helpful guys came over and lifted the mattress of the car and took it up the steps to the skip for us. What a great service. These guys deserve a bit of praise. 5 star service.
