Having used other councils tips, can't appreciate this one enough. People are friendly, helpful and overall very pleasant & exceptionally clean (other tips smell like hell, but not this). No appointment system actually works well and makes waste disposal easy and not a headache. Thank you team.

I’m only giving a poor review due to the attitude of some of the workers, they really can be quite rude and aggressive when it’s absolutely not necessary. I was there this afternoon when a very reserved Asian man was putting boxes in the cardboard section. A worker noticed that the boxes had polyesterine in them. After shouting at the man in quite an aggressive way, he then walked over and proceeded to humiliate him in front of everyone around very loudly. He even said “Come on, you’re an adult, aren’t you?!” It was very condescending and belittling for someone who made an easy and obviously honest mistake. The worker then walked over to another customer shaking his head and was obviously criticising and mocking the man he had just been talking to. Not to be overly dramatic but I work in mental health and certain encounters such as this can be extremely traumatic and damaging to people. It’s ok to care about your job and make sure things got in the right place but surely there has to be respect for the customers and some professionalism. If a worker gets a kick out of humiliating people, then they shouldn’t be there.
