Price a bit expensive (£3.60 for 2 hours) but it is town centre. Clean, nice walk to the shops, can get busy.

This car park is a Pay-and-Display car park. I personally despise such car parks, because those who operate them expect their customers to overpay. In fact the notice boards in this car park actually announce this policy when they say "Don't underpay your expected stay if you want to avoid a fine".

How does one calculate one's expected stay when this car park is about 10 minutes walk from the shops one wishes to go to? There and back one has already lost 20 minutes. Then one is dependent on the speed at which one is served.

A proper car park should only charge for actual usage.

And then the price, this car park was 80% empty. This, in my book, means that they are overcharging. The fees for using this one mount up hugely as time passes. To me the fees I was charged were equivalent to 10% of the meal we were having in a restaurant in this town. Such pricing eventually kills trade.
