Terrible reception staff, customer service staff, department managers are all rude, sarcastic and should be sent to nursery to learn manners as my 2yrold has better manners than them. Car was recovered and secured at there compound after a crash. 10weeks of excuses as to why I couldn't collect they released vehicle after I bought it back From insurance company. brought to me on a forklift, dumped to the ground. Split alloy, punctured tyre, bent wheel axle and oil leak as well as number plates missing. Annoyed as they had advertised and sold it at auction illegally, damaged vehicle and have 0 customer aftercare. DON'T GO THERE

Bought a bmw 1 series as "run and drive" from copart York witch came with a broken suspension arm. Manager didn't care one bit about the situation and he didn't honour the Members protection pledge as the vehicle was wrongfully advertised.

I recently had a terrible experience with Copart when I purchased a car through their online auction. My initial excitement turned into sheer frustration and disappointment as soon as I went to collect the vehicle. The advert claimed that the car "runs and drives," but to my dismay, the engine was completely dead, rendering the car useless.

What's worse is that the car was listed as a Category N vehicle, which typically implies minimal cosmetic damage. However, upon inspection, there was no visible evidence of any damage at all. It was evident that Copart had provided misleading information deliberately to lure buyers into bidding on their cars. This deceptive practice is utterly unacceptable and reflects their lack of integrity.

The fact that Copart provided false information about the car's condition is not only misleading but also a waste of time and money for the buyers. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty when making such a significant purchase. Unfortunately, Copart failed to deliver on these basic principles.

Furthermore, their customer service was abysmal. (Peterlee )When I reached out to address the issue and express my dissatisfaction, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. Their representatives offered no solution or compensation for their misleading advertisement. It was as if they believed they were not responsible for their own actions.

This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I will never consider doing business with Copart again. It is disheartening to see a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, resorting to deceitful tactics to make a sale. I strongly urge potential buyers to be cautious and think twice before engaging with Copart.

In conclusion, my experience with Copart was nothing short of a nightmare. Their false advertising, lack of transparency, and poor customer service have left me deeply disappointed. My car was written off in dec 2022 and copart sold my car to a third party with my private reg on, had about 10 penalty tickets and appealed against all of it and the councils want a forwarding address so the can send the tickets to the right person and copart refusing to provide the details of buyer.its been over a year now and im still getting penalty notices in my name.
