I've not been to this place before and what a bad experience I had due to one particular individual sorting out the black bags at 0915

I had a massive kareoke machine to drop off so I asked the gentleman where do I put it?

He replied in a patronising way 'asif to say that I'm stupid'
"WHERE THE SMALL ELECTRIC ITEMS ARE"

I then asked where is that!?

He then said again,

"WHERE THE SMALL ELECTRIC ITEMS ARE"

I again said where? Expecting him to point me in the right direction,

But after three times I asked him he pointed with a horrible attitude which way to go.

You wonder why people don't like going to these places!

If you don't like ya job, don't do it ?‍♂️, simple as that!

Last Wednesday I took some cardboard boxes to Lyne Recycling Centre. I didn’t know but my loose wedding ring had fallen into one of the boxes. By the time I realised what had happened the recycling centre was closed. It was also closed on Thursday and Friday. First thing Saturday morning I turned up and explained what had happened. The staff could not have been more helpful. The JCB was used to move the rubbish until it unearthed my cardboard box, it was pulled out of the skip and after sorting through all my rubbish, I finally found my ring. I offered some money to the two guys that helped me, they refused it. They said they were glad to help. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!!

Well organised during pandemic.
They seem to have got rid of the deadwood staff.
I remember previously helping ladies with heavy items & staff watching me.
I do not work there.
I didn't complain obviously someone must have noticed them.
Management must have fired them.

Great that they don't have silly booking slots like other recycling places I've heard of. Can't quite bring myself to give it a 5* rating as at the end of the day it's a recycling centre by a sewage works that smells a bit. Staff there very helpful and site all very tidy

Only for Surrey residents from April 2022 I think I saw. I know this isn't the only centre that has such a rule but it seems churlish to me. Imagine someone who lives just on the border....their nearest centre may be very close...but their official one miles away...so much for efficiency and being "green"...anyway, back to this place. I like the fact that there are no stairs for many (could be all..) of the recycling rubbish types. Park your car (spaces for maybe 15 cars) and then drop your reycling in. Also great that next to the garden recycling container they very conveniently put a smaller bin for ones excess plastic bags from the garden rubbish...so, a well-organised place...shame I can't use it as I'm not in Surrey, so won't/can't go back.

Today, there was a queue, it took me almost 45mins to throw my rubbish away, however everyone was organised and I'm quite pleased they are doing extra precautions and followed the government's advice in regards with the COVID issue, I just hoped all of us there were wearing masks as some were still not bothered.

The rude "man" with a beard on the barrier not a great face for the company. Most rudest man I've ever had the displeasure of coming across in all my life. The company need to send him on some sort of customer service training. Obviously has a problem with females , likes to make them feel belittled. Shame I came along with my mother and not with my boyfriend would like to see how he would of spoke to me then
