A long queue but good when you get in. I'm just glad there is a local tip given the council's decision to charge for green waste and the proposed 3 week pick ups for black bins. A real shame that 9 to 5 working people are penalised by having to book a slot on weekends though. Combined with the council's policies, it feels impossible to get rid of excess household waste.

Seems like it is too busy now as cars are usually queuing all the way back on to Congleton road. Cars arriving from the Congleton direction causing holdups! Never was like this before. Peeup in a brewery comes to mind.

Staff are rude and ignore you. But when they do talk to tell you off for doing something, they are rude and demeaning. They are no help to the elderly they just ignore them.

Access is very easy and the one way system helps with traffic flow.
There are over a dozen large skips clearly marked for the specific goods plus a number of smaller units for other items.
It was very busy when I visited Mon 11:00 but not too much delay waiting for a spot to park up and unload my car.

you now have to prebook for weekends / bank holidays rather than just turning up. so be aware.
your rubbish also gets checked (ie you have to queue up and have your binbags opened/checked), clean cardboard only accepted etc.

The people at the tip very helpful. Given 1 star in response to Cheshire East's decision to close Poynton tip. Cheshire East seem to be at odds with the Govt. The Govt wants us to reduce emissions, yet Cheshire East are making people drive much further (my commute there has doubled), thus increasing emissions. It's also very very busy, with traffic queued back to the main road at times. Engines chugging away, again causing more pollution. Shame on you Cheshire East.

Came on Monday late morning,hoping it would be less busy...20 mins wait on main road. Its not safe when other cars trying to get passed.
