Site is permanently closed to the public at this location, will be permanently closed fully soon. Site is currently under redevelopment. Maxilead will be moving to Arley Way, Chanters industrial Estate, Atherton. All information is comfirmed by Maxilead on their website.

I am a member of maxilead and never had problems before but the last time I went in they were not interested in helping me and told me they do not collect vehicles despite their website saying and I Quote "we provide a range of vehicle recycling services including vehicle collection, vehicle dismantling, vehicle salvage, vehicle scrapping". I have emailed them regarding a price and collection and no reply. Clearly they have now got to big for their boots and not interested in my scrap metal.
Waste of time and energy trying to get rid of your scrap with these people. Don't bother, go elsewhere, Might as well cut up my membership card. What a joke, Avoid otherwise you will never get an honest answer if you are lucky enough that they bother to reply.
