I couldn't've been able to keep my first car (Vauxhall VX/490) & many subsequent motors running without Yalburton Scrappy!
A pleasant morning's treasure hunt amongst the crunchy, oily mud & towering piles of cars back in the '80s & '90s & then down to Churchward's for a couple of gallons of Devon Mix. Heaven!
So glad to see you still there chaps!
The scrappy down near the bus station succumbed to the developers sadly (I saw a Humber Hawk Hearse in there once. Just a bit too far gone ?).
I live in Kent now (homesick as hell) but chuffed you're still going strong! Part of the fabric of Paignton! ?

It's a scrap yard place. It is not a very huge place, but it is big enough, and here you can find cars written off and damaged cars involved in accidents and written off by insurance companies. If you are looking to buy parts for your cars, you can ask staff members, and they let you go in with a green vest on, and you can remove from cars what you wish as a part for your car and if you have some knowledges you can fix your car. They will give you a good price. If not, they will press the cars and destroy it how they are. You can find doors, windows, engines, and parts from engines, bonnets, bumpers, and many parts you want. They also have wheels to sell, which are removed from cars before they destroy everything.
If you want to buy something, you must go there because they are not posting on the website or social media what cars they have there.
If you have an old car and you want to get rid of it, and you can not sell it because nobody will buy it because is not worth it, you can give them and they will give you some changes for it..and will destroy it.
