Staff always pleasant, polite and helpful. Unfortunately sometimes close for a short while as did this afternoon for half an hour but sure there must be a reason. Altogether a pleasant place to visit.

Don’t go to this tip if you’re short of time as they regularly close it to ‘clear the wall’ obviously this needs to be done but surely there should be some sort of timetable for this. I’ve often had to wait 20 - 30 mins just to get in!! Staff are generally friendly though.

I have been sat in a queue for over an hour. The business should really consider updating there web site, when closed to deal with a loading issue. Then customers can decide if they want to sit in a queue on their day off.

Everytime come here always wait nobody comes to inform you why and when you do put items in containers like your frown on very bad organised needs be looked into had to go chadderton one ridiculous service .

Staff is always friendly and very helpful and you can bring literally everything to recycle instead on dumping it on the street, so please use it

0 if possible no queues nobody there it's raining, refused entry as we are in a sprinter van literally have a sofa on the back , there is no height limit told must have a permit even though the permit website is down, offered to park up and walk it in from the street, nope you can't do that, told us to bring it back in a car Hahaha a full sofa , no wonder people just dump there stuff.

Small recycling centre, restricted height vehicles, tight u-turn at the far end to get out. You will be asked what you are dropping off and sometimes you will be asked for your postcode. If you have mixed waste then don’t bother going here as you’ll have to spend time dividing it all up.

I've only read the first disparaging review but I have to say that the barrier staff and the staff on the actual "compound" are extremely helpful and friendly. I've been here numerous times and I have never experienced anything but willingness to help - these guys deserve a medal for their unsavory job but they do it with a smile and a laugh.I suggest some people take the stick out of their proverbial and show these guy the respect they deserve.
