I feel that the management of SWISCo are incompetent to manage there refuse collecters to collect the rubbish outside my home every 2 weeks , this is now the 3rd time they have failed to collect it over the last year. On this last occasion I reported a missed collection like I have done before on the previous 2 occasions , and they refused to come to collect it because I hadn't reported within 2 days , so now my rubbish is going to be outside my home for over 4 weeks.
If the management can't manage they team or
provide reliable service to the residents, then they should let someone else who can do the job . It's not only important to carry the job right in first place, but it's more important on how things are put right when things go wrong. And with the greatest respect just because you deal in rubbish doesn't mean you have to be at your job.

I live in a seaside town in Devon and Chris, our local street cleaner, has done an amazing job of tidying up the road - above and beyond. He should definitely be getting a Christmas bonus. I wish more people would take ownership and pride in their jobs. Bravo!

Recycling centre- Won't take hard plastics even though there is a bin for it, everytime I visit there is always an issue (seems like where theres pickins theres £££), incompetent staff unfortunately

I arranged to have my garden fence panels collected as bulky waste items,on 20th Jan.On the 20th,I received an email that my bulky items were too heavy.Id given size,both width and length.I was told a refund of my £123.50 would go into my bank account in up to 5 days.I have been waiting 8 days still no refund for refusing my BULKY ITEMS.

Really Impressed with the SwisCo team: I would like to express my appreciation and thank the Torbay team of gardeners looking after our wonderful parks, especially Charles and his talented team of gardeners making Babbacombe, Princes Gardens and Torwood look so attractive. I also need to express my gratitude to the SwisCo team who remove all our rubbish, look after the toilets and keep our streets clean, together the the hard working team working at the council tip in Paignton. Thank you everyone... your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Just came back from the beach (Torre Abbey Sands). I watched in awe as the 'beach crew' groomed the beach. More of a professional effort than the last crowd who looked after our beach. More thorough. I had to ask, so I approached a young lad by the name of 'Jarred'. Wow, so friendly and knowledgeable. I learned lots, including that the accumulated seaweed/kelp is taken to a farm in the Bay and recycled. Yes, you heard right: RECYCLED. Have to give a shout out to Jarred's colleague 'Graham' who was driving the grooming beast. High marks to SWISCo!
