After being a patient with them for 15 years 5 of which as an out of area patient, the doctor who looks most likely to have a heart attack in the next week (Dr windlass) decided I can no longer be there despite the fact in the last 5 years I've seen them about 5 times as what if I need a call out (never had one) you want a sign to get private healthcare this is it. When a doctors surgery kicks you off their list and claim based on your history were concerned. The only concern I have is my autism which these guys can't consider... truly avoid them

Are you a woman? Do you have PCOS? Are you having trouble getting pregnant? Do you enjoy being made to feel like shit, and be talked down to by patronising GP’s who are miserable with their own lives, so they make everyone else miserable? Well, come to Kingskerswell Health Centre! My wife left this place in tears because of a female GP (my wife wouldn’t tell me who it was). You’d think a female would be empathetic when you’re struggling to get pregnant. Don’t go here, change GP’s if you can. Disgusting.

Appalling. Total lack of empathy and compassion when attending for a fertility appointment.

We waited 15 minutes which ordinarily we wouldn’t have batted an eyelid at, however we were then told she only had my husband down for an appointment. This had been arranged as a double appointment by the practice manager months ago. GP agreed to reluctantly see us and perhaps that set the tone. She started off by saying we both “look healthy” and it shouldn’t be an issue to fast track the referral to fertility clinic through (as the GP surgery failed to process the referral a year prior to this!) but I feel that when she saw my BMI her demeanour changed, she then said the referral would likely be declined and she wouldn’t even be happy to refer me to private clinics because of the associated risks. I am very aware the private clinics accept patients with a higher BMI than mine and I am currently trying my very hardest to lose weight but with PCOS it isn’t anywhere near as easy but that doesn’t mean to say I haven’t been trying for 17 years!

I was left to feel totally worthless and as if I don’t deserve to have a baby because of my BMI. I cried throughout the appointment because of my struggles with PCOS and struggling to lose weight and there was no encouragement or help in this aspect at all.

I am a midwife and now health visitor and love supporting families to care for their own babies, it is utterly appalling that the NHS you dedicate your life to lacks the understanding of individual struggles and paints everyone with the same brush. I felt discouraged from trying for a baby and pretty much turned away and told to try Mounjaro.

The GP was patronising and condescending and honestly I am disgusted that you want to make a young woman who is clearly already emotionally struggling with infertility walk away from that appointment in tears. Shame on you!

To top it off we rang to reschedule our appointment booked prior to this one they cancelled my husbands appointment but not mine (the surgeries fault) and I noticed there is a red flag on systm1 to say I did not attend.

I am considering escalating to a formal complaint.

A caring surgery that is also professional, I have been seen on time and my cancer check ups have been timely . I cannot really put into words how great the surgery has been .

The service and help we have had since joining this surgery has been exemplary. From receptionist to Dr's. All have been helpful and respectful in sorting out health and issues I have had.

If I could give 0 stars, that's what I would give. The receptionists who book the appointments are very rude. I'm disgusted with the attitude they give you. If they are not happy in the job, they should find another one. The GP manager needs to listen to the calls on how they speak to patients!!! Even when you visit the surgery, they are so miserable and do the bare minimum. I now hate booking or visiting the surgery as I just can't deal with how ignorant they are.
