Update:

The council have introduced a booking system. Go on to their website, it's fairly straight forward, but popular!

I have been using theses facility's for a number if years and have observed many changes for the better.

The centre was closed for a bit during early stages of the pandemic. Thankfully its now open and fully operational.

The council have set up a fantastic system, they have put good measures in place to keep to the 2 metre distance.

There is an on going traffic que, it can take up to an hour waiting, which l am happy about. They have good traffic patrol in place. We as residents need to practice good old fashion patients.

The team that are directing and controlling traffic are keeping everything flowing. The team at the site have been amazing and helpful to customers. Also just to warn if you are hopping to offload a mass of rubble, that is not part of your monthly quota you will have to pay a fee, their really on the case, so be warned.

I know it's a weird time for everyone, but l am so glad they have this place up and running.

While offloading my car today I tripped over a kerb and twisted my left knee very painfully. The guys there were so helpful, tried to get me comfortable. I must thank them. I eventually managed to drive away - luckily I have an automatic. My knee has swollen dreadfully now. (They emptied my garden refuse too!)

The staff at the centre are courteous, attentive and patient, which is even more impressive when having to deal with my uncanny (and often infuriating) incompetence at all practical matters. If you dread coming here because you don't have a clue what you're doing - have no fear. They run an excellent service.

We cant praise the staff enough, having cleared extensive rubbish from a property following a bereavement disposing of this with a hire van was a very smooth process. Nigel was extremely sensitive and provided the much needed human interaction giving us one less hurdle to face in a horrible process. Further staff were equally supportive what a great asset they are to this facility.
